The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA), in partnership with the Government of the Virgin Islands, has awarded two contracts aimed at improving public infrastructure, community accessibility and essential services across the territory.

According to an RDA press release, the first contract was awarded to Supreme Construction Engineering Management Services for renovations to the lobby of the Major Peebles Wing Clinic. The contract is valued at $463,087.20.

The project forms part of the wider BVI Health Services Authority Infrastructure Improvement Programme, which includes several initiatives designed to strengthen healthcare infrastructure throughout the Virgin Islands.

The second contract was awarded to Wayne O’Neal dba WDMO Group Design, for design services related to a proposed pedestrian walkway under the Road Town Development Partnership. The contract is valued at US$23,500.

The RDA said the design phase marks an important step toward improving walkability and creating safer, more accessible movement within Road Town. The initiative is one of several projects being advanced under the Road Town Development Partnership to enhance infrastructure, accessibility and public spaces in the capital.

The RDA said the agreements reflect its ongoing commitment to delivering projects that strengthen public services, improve community spaces and support the development of resilient infrastructure across the Virgin Islands.

Both contracts were signed on May 28, 2026.
